Onboarding
One checklist to bring a project aboard
Onboarding is a single checklist with an automatic check for every step. Maestro does every step it can. For the few that only you can do, such as a click on GitHub, it tells you exactly what to do, then checks it.
Three ways in, one state
Console wizard
A step-by-step wizard in the Maestro console, with a helper that explains each step.
REST API
The same steps from your own scripts and tools.
MCP
A Claude session in your repository can onboard the project itself.
The steps
Each step can be re-checked at any time. A project can be onboarded half by hand and half by Maestro without losing track.
1. Create the project
Product name, repository, environments and the parts you want switched on.
2. Install the GitHub App
You do thisYou install Maestro's GitHub App on the repository and grant its permissions. Maestro checks both.
3. Mark and verify the repository
A small marker file arrives by pull request, then Maestro verifies the repository and advises on your branch model.
4. Connect your environments
Each environment's address, checked against its health route.
5. Gather knowledge
Documents you upload, plus chosen paths read from the repository.
6. Publish the agents
The analysts are created and published on TALOS MaiND.
7. Issue the keys
The project's keys are created and sealed straight into the repository's GitHub secrets. Nobody needs to copy them.
8. Add the loop files
The product-loop configuration and workflows arrive in one pull request. Maestro merges it only if it is exactly what Maestro rendered, and flags any difference.
9. Deploy and report
You do thisYour deploy reports its first release, and the project shows green.
10. Choose the switches
You do thisTurn on development runs and choose whether runs start and merge automatically.
A helper that proposes, never acts
In the console, a TALOS MaiND helper answers questions about each screen and step, in English or Greek. It may suggest one action as a 'Do this' card that says exactly what will happen. Only your click runs it, with your own session. The helper is never given a key, a code or a password.
Onboarding, end to end
The checklist, its checks and the wizard are built and in use. Runtime readiness and key rotation are steps of the same checklist. Your team onboards with us, step by step.
